Assassin's Creed Unveils Surprising AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre crossover event that breaks usual forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Disclosed
According to the formal statement, "A strange encounter pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden sect.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar trials and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Changes
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Additional Material
Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an unique katana in addition to numerous artifacts secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Latest Free Story Update
This release also adds the game's newest no-cost story episode, titled "A Puzzlement." This lighthearted quest teams Naoe and Yasuke as they swap distinctive techniques: Naoe debuts a dramatic interpretation of Yasuke's war kick, while Yasuke masters non-lethal stealth takedowns. True to its name, "A Puzzlement" also features a original environmental puzzle that may finally clarify some unresolved questions from the main storyline.
